The sqawk of the wooden chair legs creating friction with the tiled floor made Cas's head snap in Aeli's direction. Eyes completely void of the previous anger. He wanted to take it back. All of it. But he couldn't. Wouldn't. He meant what he said and said what he meant. Association between him and vile humans does not exist. And it never will. Association between him and Aeli will exist, for as long as he can nurture it. She wasn't a human; repulsive and ignorant, rather she was something more. To Cas. Something that he knew he couldn't just throw away because he said the wrong thing at the wrong time. He will make it better, he decided. Between them. He would fix all broken aspects; cure all rotten disease, but most of all become something more. To Aeli. God would never know how strong his feelings towards her were. To be honest, neither did Cas. It seems that more and more of them are unveiled the longer he's with Aeli. And for the first time in a long time, Cas was scared. That their bond was deteriorating. He could handle Mat and him growing apart, but could he handle losing Aeli?

With a hard look on his face, hands clenched into fists, Cas marched his way up to Aeli's room, taking mental notices of the writhing plants that ever so clearly depicted the emotions conflicting within Aeli. And the glass on the floor; sharp shards jutting every which way. Cas seemed to float over it, coming away unscathed as he barged in Aeli's room, nearly knocking the door off of its hinges.

What would he do now? In the middle of a raging war? In the eye of the hurricane? What could Cas possibly do? Honestly, he didn't know. His brain was unable to configure a correct response. For the first time ever, Cas didn't know what to do. Pushing his brain into overdrive only caused it to shut down. What would happen now?

Before he knew what he was doing, Cas pulled Aeli up off of her bed by her arms. He pressed her against the nearest wall, hands traveling down from her arms to rest on her hips as he crushed their lips together.

He brain screamed for him to pull away. His common sense screamed that he was doing the wrong thing. His opinion screamed for him to end her. Many voices screamed, but he only heard one.

[finally replied. its horrible, but i havent really written anything in a few months, so im rusty.]

The sound of her frantic heart beat her only companion, Aeliana sat silently in her white, lacey room. She hadn't meant to speak so sharply to Cas, but she couldn't not understand his hatred for the world and her inhabitants. Aeli naturally loved all living beings on this planet. Their life was like a beautiful rainbow that never seemed to end. As she calmed her raging mind, the plants began to calm as well, curling back into their normal ways, up her walls, around her bed, out her window. It's unusual for them to act like this. She stares as they slowly inch around, but don't touch her.

The sound of Cas's foot steps coming up the stairs did not surprise her. He seemed to be attempting normality and some sort of relationship that didn't involve hatred. She didn't expect him to nearly break her door off coming in. She gasped, a shiver raking her body as she looked at him, unblinking. His facial expression was that of extreme confusion. As he walked through the room, her plants moved away from him, as if afraid. She watched with brows furrowed as they recoiled. This also was strange. She wasn't left with much time to contemplate their behavior before Cas surprised her, shoving her against the wall.

In that moment, she determined she was going to die. She had always assumed that when humans died, their life sis really flash before their eyes. Nothing happened with her, but...he kissed her. Cas kissed her and she liked it. No matter how wrong it is or how much she should stop it, she doesn't. She just sort of stands there frozen, like a wide-eyed doll, for a while. She shouldn't be surprised. She knew Cas felt this way. That's why she went. It was wrong to love him like she did; more than a brother. And so she left, packed up her things and escaped before her feelings could get the best of her. Aeli softened her muscles against his grasp. Her melting insides told her to let it go, but her common sense said this had to stop before things went somewhere bad. "Cas." She whispered, out of breath, against his lips. She pulled a dainty hand from her side and put two fingers on his lips. "Castiel." She said again before swallowing.
